Here we have a round iron tsuba with two hitsu ana. The design is hotei – sitting ins bag – getting dragged by karako. Hotei has his typical utilities in his hand. On his face we can see a big smile, he is even showing some teeth. Everything is carved out of the iron plate and colored (iore) with copper, silver and gold. This is a famous and often pictured design which is executed here with all important aspects.
