This tsuba depicts chrysanthemum flowers and leaves in high relief. Buds and stamens are painted reddish brown and decorated with gold powder (makie). Individual dewdrops are even inlaid in gold. On the ura side there is this nice small detail, that the design of the leave continues on the seppadai as katakiriba.
