Solid gold menuki from Kaga province with the motif of a plum tree with a large plum blossom. Since these 15 gram menuki are carved in high relief, they could perhaps be confused with Mino at first. However, the enclosed Hozon paper from the NBTHK clearly identifies them as Kaga, as does the material they are made of, solid gold.
