Kozuka with the motif “Hen with chick” made by Goto Tokujo (Mitsumoto) (1550-1631), the 5th generation of the Goto mainline, the Shirobei line. It is not only attributed by the NBTHK Hozon certificate, but also by Goto Enjo (Mitsutaka) (1722-1784), the 13th generation Goto mainline.
Again, how valued this type of fittings where is demonstrated by this beautiful kozuka, which is still repaired and maintained by the same family of artists after generations – hundred years – later.
